Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account info: email address, and optionally name, username, bio, and social links
• Listing data you submit: product name, URL, description, screenshots, founder details
• Usage data: pages viewed, upvotes/bookmarks/comments, and listing analytics (views, clicks, referrer, approximate country) tied to the listings you visit
• Payment data: handled by Polar (our merchant of record) — we never see full card details
• Newsletter signups, if you subscribe

2. How we use it

To operate the directory (showing listings, search, trending), authenticate you, process payments for upgrades, send transactional email (approval/rejection notices, magic links, receipts), send the newsletter if you've subscribed, and improve the product through aggregate usage analytics.

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the vendors that run the Service on our behalf:

• Polar Software, Inc. — payment processing for listing upgrades (merchant of record)
• Resend — transactional and newsletter email delivery
• Meilisearch — powers on-site search (self-hosted; not shared with third parties)
• Our hosting and database providers, to run the Service

Public listing content (name, description, screenshots, founder name if shown) is visible to anyone, by design — that's the point of a directory.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies for session/login, theme preference, and basic analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details.

5. Data retention

We keep account and listing data while your account is active. Deleted accounts are removed within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records (e.g. payment records for tax/accounting purposes).

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA.

7. Children

The Service isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We'll update the "Last updated" date above if this policy changes materially.
