Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Launchline (the "Service"). By creating an account, submitting a listing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Accounts

You can sign in via magic link or a supported OAuth provider (Google, GitHub). You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Submissions and content

By submitting a listing, screenshots, or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it and grant Launchline a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute it as part of operating the Service (including in search results, social previews, and the newsletter). You retain ownership of your content.

We moderate submissions per our submission guidelines. We may reject, remove, or edit listings (e.g. for accuracy or formatting) at our discretion, and remove listings that violate these Terms or the guidelines.

4. Paid upgrades

Listing upgrades (Boost, Featured, Spotlight, Billboard) are one-time purchases that apply for 7 days from purchase. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc., acting as merchant of record; Polar's own terms apply to the payment transaction itself. Purchases are generally final — see our refund note in the FAQ.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to submit illegal, fraudulent, or NSFW content; scrape or harvest data beyond normal use; attempt to manipulate upvotes, rankings, or reviews; or interfere with the Service's normal operation.

6. Termination

You can stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is." We don't vouch for the accuracy, safety, or legality of third-party listings or linked websites — visit them at your own discretion. To the extent permitted by law, Launchline isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
